COTOMATE
AI handles the legwork.
You keep the call.
For people who take their work seriously — and want to know what AI should and shouldn't do.
What is this, exactly?
Cotomate maps where AI contributes to the work your role actually does — and where you're better off staying hands-on. Not a generic chatbot. Not a sales pitch. What we do starts from your work, not from a tool that happens to be called AI.
It starts with a twenty-to-twenty-five minute conversation. No questionnaire, no form. We talk about what you do in an average week, and a report comes out of it — one you share with the people who need to work with it: a colleague, an advisor, or the people responsible for your numbers.
From that report you build out: roles, skills, processes. Every AI action is traceable back to the conversation it came from. You don't have to take it on trust.
What you get
01 · A report you actually share
The What-can-go report. Print-magazine quality, shareable with colleagues, advisors, or clients — without software clutter. What AI can automate, what AI can support, what stays human — every line justified.
02 · A workspace with audit trail
Every AI action is logged. Every prompt is readable — word for word, not summarised. Every decision traces back to the skill, the process, and the conversation it came from. No black box.
03 · Compliance built into the architecture
GDPR, AI Act, Wwft, art. 52 AWR — not a checklist afterwards, but baked into how the platform handles data. For those who need to explain it to a regulator.
03.1 · Booking receipts and invoices
AugmentableBooking receipts and invoices
Incoming invoices are recognised automatically, classified against the general ledger, and presented as draft entries for human review. AI does the extraction; the responsible accountant signs off on the booking.
Classified as augmentable because AI handles standard cases excellently, but exceptions (unusual suppliers, complex VAT situations) require human judgement.
One task from the report. A typical report contains 8–15 tasks across Automatable, Augmentable, and Human.
What this is built on
Cotomate is built for people who take their work seriously and want to know where AI should and shouldn't step in. That puts demands on how the platform handles data. Three things we explicitly do differently from most AI tools:
Data lives in the Netherlands
The infrastructure runs on European servers (Hetzner, Frankfurt / Helsinki). No US providers. Not subject to the CLOUD Act.
Audit trail with statutory retention
Every AI action is logged in an append-only ledger and retained per the statutory retention period for your sector (typically seven years for financial-administrative data per art. 52 §4 AWR). Including the prompts and the models that ran them.
AI Act article 50
Every AI message in Cotomate is explicitly marked as AI-generated. The platform performs no hidden AI actions and claims no human authorship where there isn't any.
Aggregate-only insights
Manager dashboards aggregate per role or process — never per person. Who did what lives in the audit trail, and only there, with explicit access logging.
Ready to see what it could mean for your role? The interview takes twenty to twenty-five minutes and the report is yours — we don't use it to sell you anything.
